They're finally here! And you can

We've wanted to offer these excellent
refurbished, lab-quality microscopes to homeschooling families ever since we
bought one for ourselves three years ago. And now we've arranged to make these
wonderful instruments available at an incredibly low price! Each microscope has
been refurbished and works like new. Any of you that have been teaching your
children about microscopes (using the Microscope Adventure! unit study, of
course) and using an inexpensive "toy" microscope will not believe your eyes
when you look through one of these. Our oldest daughter LeShay has been working
for veterinarians for many years and does a lot of microscope work in their
labs. She says that these instruments are far better than the ones she uses in
the vet's lab!

The newest model we can make available is an
Ernst Leitz
Wetzlar Monocular Microscope with a
10X eyepiece, three oil
objectives (10X,43X,and
100X power), mechanical stage, coarse and fine
focus, 20 watt illuminator with on-off switch, and a condenser
with iris leaf diaphragm. This unit ships with
an extra 20 watt bulb (they are hard to find - so it's great to have an

I'm sure you can tell from the picture
of the microscope to the left that this is a quality instrument. Notice the
20 watt illuminator mounted underneath the stage and the mechanically stage
that lets you move your slide around with precision rather than trying to
position it by hand. This is a quality instrument normally used in medical
labs.
